Handling a boat in the Mediterranean requires a few days training. Courses are not daunting exercises and are generally good fun. It’s in the interests of the whole group to make sure all owners can handle a boat to the required standard.
The International Certificate of Competence is the minimum requirement.
The Certificate of Competence is a requirement for using a boat in European waters. The course runs over a few days and you will learn the theory of boat handing and navigation.
Training can be arranged at Alcudia Marina on your own boat which is the most effective way of learning to sail.
